ORANGE is one of the top percussion / MC / didgeridoo live acts in Europe.
ORANGE dissolves traditional genre barriers by bridging the cultural division which commonly separates traditional and modern music. They put electronics and programming into world music. They put didgeridoo into techno. They put the audience into a trance. No one is left behind. Let your mind go and ORANGE take your ass over as you move to tribal rhythms and overtone melodies.

ORANGE awakens the spirit in their audiences, bringing thousands of people to a furious stampede of dance.
Their massive rhythm section is the core of ORANGE´s sound incorporating four drummers with djembe, yambu, darabuka, and drum set to create a
dense atmosphere of rhythm. On top, the didgeridoo adds a harmonic compliment to the varying rhythms. Synth and bass lines add the contemporary element to the basics, which is followed by the overtone chanting of the voice of RAINER VON VIELEN.
There are no lyrical boundaries. There are no social limitations. What do we call it? We call it handmade Goa, natural trance, minimal rhythmn, and world music.
ORANGE is an unique example of live entertainment at it´s best. There are no restrictions. There is nothing to understand. Spherical sounds vs. progressive beats, minimal bass lines vs. tremendous loops, analog vs. digital, the past vs. the future….. in the end it´s simply music which makes everyone dance.

Orange fand sich zum ersten Mal 1999 auf der Bühne des Pura Vida Festivals ein. Zu der Zeit spielten Wichtel und Hannes am Didgeridoo, Stefan, Wolfi, Luke, Niko Lai und Philip an den Percussions. Die Kombo überzeugte damals mit sehr erdigen, unverbauten und geraden Beats, welche zu trancigen Didgeridoo Linien ihr Publikum zum Tanzen bewegte.
In den darauf folgenden Jahren wurden immer wieder Gastmusiker zu Auftritten eingeladen, um das Soundspektrum der Orangen zu erweitern.
2003 bereicherte Rainer von Vielen Orange und gab der Band mit seinen Einflüssen eine neue Note. Bald hielten elektronische Flächen und schwebende Obertongesänge Einzug in die treibenden Beatlines. Das Schlagzeug wurde mehr und mehr eingesetzt, um dem Zuhörer noch mehr in die Trance Klangwelt zu entführen. Durch ihr breites Klangspektrum verfügt Orange über die Gabe, den Zuhörer in eine Welt des träumenden Tanzes zu verzaubern.
Seitdem spielte Orange auf diversen großen Festivals quer durch die Republik und verfeinert immer wieder mit neuen musikalischen Einflüssen ihren Soundreichtum.
